Old Tump House, Blakeney

The accommodation

Old Tump HouseBedroomOld Tump House offers comfortable accommodation in a stone-built former Miners’ Inn. All rooms are en suite and half panelled. There is a fully equipped kitchen for possible evening use and a barbeque on the terrace looking across into the Forest. A brook runs at the bottom of the orchard surrounding the house. Good walking and biking is nearby in the Forest and along the Severn and Wye valleys. We look forward to welcoming you to this beautiful and still unspoilt part of the world.

And for breakfast…

KitchenWe are fortunate to live close to two Camphill Communities with their biodynamic vegetable gardens and farms. We get our eggs, milk and bread from them and tomatoes in season. A good local farm at Awre provides our home produced cured bacon and sausages and all our jams and marmalades are homemade and mostly homegrown. Yoghurts and butter come from an excellent new Deli in Newnham that aims, as we do, to stock and use only good quality, locally produced food.
