The accommodation
Daphne and Phil ensure a warm welcome with a relaxed friendly atmosphere at the 18th century farmhouse on a working beef farm that has been in the family for over 100 years. Situated in a village in an area of outstanding natural beauty, close to Symonds Yat and Royal Forest of Dean for walking and cycling. Ample parking and secure cycle storage. All en suite bedrooms are attractively furnished and have a mellow warmth of natural pine. A cost guest lounge provides relaxation at any time during your stay. We have the AA 4 red diamond award and an AA Landlady of the year 2006 finalist.
And for breakfast…
Breakfast is served in our large conservatory overlooking the spacious garden and countryside. Our traditional farmhouse breakfast is extremely popular as it is served on a plate in the middle of the guest’s individual table. All cooking is via the grill or griddle with a choice of poached, fried or scrambled eggs. Where possible all produce is local or organic.
