The accommodation
We have 3 spacious bedrooms at Old Farm, all overlooking the garden. We have one double, one queen size four poster and one family room that can be either a twin or super king-size double with extra beds/cots for children if required. All 3 bedrooms have a TV, tea/coffee making facilities, en suite toilet and showers in the room. The family room also has a DVD player.
The large dining room can also be used as a lounge by guests with TV, books and games. The garden is free for guests to use – either to relax and unwind or it is also a great area to let off steam, especially those with children or plenty of energy. We are a working farm with pigs, sheep, cattle and hens and guests are welcome to have a look around the farm to see what we do.
We have recently joined the Green Tourism Business Scheme and have been given a gold award and we have a silver award from Taste of the West for our commitment to local sourcing.
And for breakfast…
All of our breakfast ingredients are local including our own free range eggs, Old Spot sausages and bacon and home made damson jam (while stocks last…) We get our milk from Holmleigh Dairy, Donington – where they know all their cows by name! (4 miles); bread from Le Petit Croissant, Lower Clopton (8 miles); apple juice from Hayles Fruit Farm (11 miles); yoghurts from Woodlands Dairy, Chedworth (14 miles); preserves from Kitchen Garden, Stroud (27 miles) and butter from Netherend Dairy, Lydney (39 miles). We even use local rape seed oil (4 miles) for cooking and running the farm pick up!
We will happily cater for any requirements (just let us know when you book) and always keep a stock of gluten free bread and our own gluten free sausages.
