Home of the great British bed & breakfast
Welcome to localbreakfast.com, home of the great British Bed and Breakfast. Our mission is to provide a market place for comfortable, friendly B&Bs around the country who are proud to serve a breakfast made from local produce. We aim to become the first point of call for discerning visitors who care about what they eat as well as where they stay. Over the coming months we will be developing a series of regional mini sites, each containing no more than 30 B&Bs. Each mini site will focus on the unique culture and flavours of the area, showcasing local food heroes and events, as well as places to visit and attractions.
We are now proud to launch our new Cotswolds and Forest of Dean sites, bringing you the tastiest local breakfasts in these beautiful regions.
The Cotswolds
We are currently building our database of B&Bs in the Cotswold area. This is another stunning part of the country with loads to see and do. Why not get a taste of the area by visiting one of the B&Bs currently listed, or take advantage of the Winter Midweek Special running at Old Farm Dorn in January and February – 3 nights for £120 (over 25% off normal rates). Remember to quote Local Breakfast when making your booking.
The Forest of Dean
We are delighted to welcome on board B&Bs from the Forest of Dean. The Forest offers an abundance of local produce, much of which can be sampled at the B&Bs on this site. Your hosts will be pleased to tell you about where they have sourced your breakfast ingredients. With Autumn just around the corner, now is a great time to visit to take in the spectacular scenery.
